Parent, Carer and Community Workshops
For schools, early learning services and workplaces that want the families in their care to feel ready rather than afraid.
Most parents are not short of warnings. They are short of someone who will sit with them, tell them the truth and help them work out what to do on a Tuesday night when something feels wrong. That is what these sessions are for.
Our workshops are strategic briefings, not scare campaigns. They treat parents and carers as the capable, loving adults they are, and they are grounded in a simple belief: keeping children safe is a shared duty of care between families, schools and the wider community, and nobody should be carrying it alone.
Children do not live their lives in neat categories, so neither do our sessions. Each one draws on five specialist lanes, led by people who have spent years on the frontline of children's lives.
SoS · Online Safety, AI and Digital Risk
What is really happening on the apps, games and AI tools children use, from algorithms and AI companions to sextortion, scams and image-based abuse, and the calm, practical steps that make a difference at home.
CURIOS · School Refusal
Why a child who once loved school may start to dread it, the early signs that are easy to miss, and how parents and schools can work together to bring them back gently.
BRAVE · Vulnerable Children
How grooming really works, online and off, the quiet warning signs, and how to build the kind of trust that means a child tells you before it is too late.
RiSE · Equity, Inclusion and Disability
Practical guidance for families of children with additional needs, who are often more exposed online and less often believed, and how to advocate for the support they are entitled to.
BEACON · Mental Health and Wellbeing
How to notice when a child is struggling, how to start the conversation, what to do in a crisis, and how to care for a child, and yourself, in the days that follow.
The phone that never leaves the bedroom and the stomach ache every Monday morning. The new online friend and the sudden change in mood. These are rarely separate stories, and parents leave knowing how to read them as one.
Parents leave with fewer fears and better questions.
Every session is current, honest and practical. Parents and carers leave knowing what to look for, how to talk with their children without shutting the conversation down, where the real risks sit and what to do if something goes wrong. Most of all, they leave feeling they are not on their own.
FOR SCHOOLS AND EARLY LEARNING SERVICES
A whole-community evening or daytime session that reinforces the work you are already doing with students and staff, so families and teachers share one language and one approach. Sessions sit alongside an annual subscription to Community Connect, giving parents ongoing access to "Ask TELLUS", cheat sheets, parent scripts and short courses long after the workshop ends.
FOR WORKPLACES
Your people do not leave their children at the door. A worried parent is a distracted employee, and a family crisis at home rarely stays there. A lunchtime or after-hours session gives working parents and carers clear, trusted guidance, and shows them their employer genuinely cares about the lives they go home to. It is a wellbeing benefit people actually remember.
